Spring Begins: March 20, 2017
What will I make peace with this season?
Letting go of the guilt..the guilt of releasing everything that impedes upon my time and focus to live a purposeful life. Even if it means being misunderstood. I can no longer hide behind the fear of perception. I am stepping out. #LivingUnapologetically
What will I spring forth?
Sharing the power of finding closure from within through self-reflection, the arts, and God’s counsel.
Faceless Closure Moment:
2016 was a tough year. So tough that I was unable to complete launching my first book, Faceless Closure. I don’t like listing the litany of problems that I faced in 2016 for three reasons:
- No matter how much I try to articulate the magnitude of everything I went through, I can’t seem to fully explain it all.
- By God’s grace, I’ve made it to the other side.
- There were more lessons than there were problems that I’ve gained. In retrospect, I gained a better understanding of myself and appreciation for the process I went through.
Everything that left me broken, did not destroy my ability to fly above it all.
What will you spring forth?

SPRING FOCUS
Don’t despise the process.
Everything that is happening in your life is happening because you are ready to transition into something different. Let it happen.
Life Quote:
“A butterfly feels the most unbearable pressure right before it breaks out of the cocoon. Not while it’s transitioning from a caterpillar to butterfly, but when it has outgrown it’s shape in a space that no longer can hold it’s capacity.” – paraphrased by TD Jakes
Scripture:
2 Corinthians 4: 8-9 “Pressure on Every Side”
8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
